Miss Samantha is a lovely little one-week-old. She is not, for better or worse, a particularly sleepy creature...so, for a full two-and-a-half hours, Miss Samantha batted her big blue eyes at me.
She is just too stinkin' smooshy for words in that image...eventually, with swaddling, cuddling, feeding, rocking, and generous amounts of undivided attention from no less than *three* women...she fell asleep. For a minute.
And those lips are worth it.
