Just in time for...September...the joy/peace/wonder sessions.  As the holidays come all too quickly each and every year, I'd like to head 'em off at the pass with *extremely* limited sessions aimed at bangin' out holiday cards.  That $100 session fee includes 2 kiddos.  Any additional subjects, parents included, are $25 each.

Get booking!  The first image is a holiday card sample!  Isn't it fantastically magicalyumscious?

This one cracks me up.

samblog7.jpgAnd a shoutout to the photographers who send my work love notes!  It's appreciated!

I had a flat tire this morning...cars zipping by at 70 MPH while I looked all sad and pathetic until MattMatt came to change it.  (Yes, empowered women of the world, I *know* I should know how to change it...but my Dad is super-duper with cars, so I never had to...)  I was late for my first appointment, expecting to meet an irate Mom.  Instead, Trish was waiting for me.  And Mr. Reese, all 7.5 months of him, made me giggle non-stop.

Next time you have a flat tire, I recommend giggling with an outrageously cute baby for an hour or so.  It really does make things better.

piontekblog1.jpgFor the photogs: processed with Totally Rad Actions 2: The Revenge.  Buy 'em, already.
A turtle. :)

Still editing yesterday's session...anyone else see the resemblance?

Miss Addison is infinitely smoochable, isn't she?

reedblog1.jpgWhy so close up?  I've been inspired by Anna Kuperberg lately.

Alright, enough teasing...here are the session highlights from my delightful morning with Ms. Avery and Ms. Ellis.  (Everyone is Ms. in my world...if the kids have to use respectful names, I figure, so do I...)

Oh, the red hair!  I've dyed my hair that color no less than 20 times in my life, and it only looks that way until the first shampoo...Isn't it marvelous?

quimbyblog4.jpgAnd isn't she gorgeous?

SLOAN

The session started with Mr. Sloan following Mom's directions to 'show me around the yard.'  "This is where there was a bird's nest but one of the eggs broke...this is a bush...this is a bush...this is a tree...these are flowers..." and so it went.  He's a remarkable tour guide, if I do say so myself.

BRYNN

I was hugged forcibly and repeatedly...she's three, she's makes me giggle, and Miss Brynn works it for the camera!  (I love her orphan face in that second image!  Oh, the heartbreak!)

SHAWN

Most of his photos were blurry, as he is just too stinkin' fast for the camera...these were taken after he finished running in circles around the room.

berginblog6.jpgAnd when all three of them are together...epic wrestling matches!

So much of what I do happens AFTER the shutter has snapped. This was shot with studio lighting, but it wasn't finished until I transformed it in Photoshop. Everything you see -- from the grain to the texture to the crop -- has been done on purpose. {My Mom still doesn't get it...} Isn't she gorgeous? wiseblog.jpg
