Yes, this was as much fun as it looks. All that rain and rescheduling led to leaves on the ground instead of in the trees. And fallen leaves lead to rolling in leaves, throwing leaves, burying one another in leaves…
Of course, boys are never content with mere leaf-throwing. They have to be Harry Potter, unwand the lowly children’s photographer, stage-dive for the adoring masses while rocking the air guitar, and grin slyly between antics.
(I wouldn’t have it any other way.)
