• You'd love to have a family portrait session that fully captures who you are, how you connect, and how much affection surfaces when all the members of your family are present within the camera frame.

We're happy to capture your family in our studio, complete with gorgeous light and minimal distractions, or in your comfy-cozy home full of familiar toys and routines. No matter where our session takes place, we'll delight in your delight. And we'll encourage you to pay attention to one another instead of the camera, because there's no 'add happy' button in Photoshop.

We don't care whether you're barefoot or wearing fuzzy slippers, and we won't be sending over a twenty-page list of suggestions about what to wear. (We can make you look beautiful in sweat pants if you love each other.) We just want to capture your family. Your habits, your quirks, and your love. And when you view the images we've created together for the first time, we want the depth of love you feel for your family to grab you by the collar and bring tears to your eyes.

The video below provides a peek at how portrait sessions unfold. If you have questions or would like to schedule a portrait session, click on the 'Contact' link above or call 215-206-3689. Oh -- and thanks for stopping by, lovely!

PHILADELPHIA PET PHOTOGRAPHER | CLEAN AND SIMPLE

I know there are other things to blog about, but um…I kinda prefer this subject, right now. Happy Wednesday!

P.S.  All these puppy shots were with the same simple white background that will be used for the Short ‘n Sweet Sessions.  Clean, crisp, and classic — for only $25 a session.  More information here!

INTRODUCING HERMIONE | PHILADELPHIA PET PHOTOGRAPHER

Please allow me to introduce Hermione D. Granger. Yes, we are Harry Potter fans.  And the D stands for danger.  She has been known to make grown men fall down laughing with her mighty-dangerous bark.

Snagged from the PSPCA, Hermione has kennel cough and is recovering from being spayed.   She’s a little less than energetic, but she wags her tail heartily when anyone enters the room. And those big eyes? They’re a weapon.

You would give in, too.

She *always* looks like the other shoe is going to drop, and we’re going to stomp on her/throw something at her/generally abuse her.  Poor dear…we might force her to wear sweaters to cover up her half-hairless and too-skinny little frame…but it’s only love from here on out.  One of these days, she’ll believe us.

HAPPY WIFE, HAPPY LIFE.

You have SO been there: kids piled onto the couch, one of ‘em yelling while one picks his nose and the other stares off into space.  You scream threats about taking away Wii games and canceling ballet lessons while they continue to ignore you and your camera.  You abandon the effort and try again three weeks later with the same result.  When December hits, you give up on a family photo and raid the Hallmark discount bin, managing to squeak your holiday cards into the mail just before the New Year arrives.

We have two ways to avoid the scenario above, both of which are painless and avoid the torture of small children.

1.) Book a full portrait session at your home or the location of your choice during the month of October, and 25 holiday cards are included — with the option to purchase as many as you need.  Boom.

2.) Book a Short ‘n Sweet session for $25, get 20 minutes of portrait time with yours truly, and score a digital file to get holiday cards printed through one of our trusted vendors.  Short ‘n Sweet sessions are ONLY available on two special days: October 17th and 20th.  Up to four people, one outfit, white background, simple and stress-free.

Download the information packet here.  Read up.  Once the spots are gone, it’s just you and your kids.  And the couch. (We both know how that turns out.)

CLINT – main line child photographer

Mr. Clint has gone from being two to being a totally-grown-up-three between the shoot and this blog post.  (Happy Birthday!)  He just might be the most energetic kid I’ve ever met…ever.  He’s also a total goof, into dinosaurs, Thomas the Train, and songwriting.  (No. Really.  His ‘bad day’ song is the best thing on the planet, and comes with air guitar.  See below.)

Clint is going to be a shark for Halloween.  Clint was also a shark for the Monday of the shoot, so if you saw a small child running around the streets of Wayne yelling, “I’m a SHARK!  Chomp, chomp, homp, chomp!”  you now have your explanation.
