POOR LITTLE LOVELY.

It was FREEZING yesterday morning, but Miss Brooke toughed it out. We snuggled her with a blanket and kept her giggling, then let her loose in that gorgeous, sleeveless Vera Wang dress.

That giggle — she’s such a delightful little two-year-old!

I’m always glad when clients are willing to trust my gut for locations that will work — weather being the x factor, of course!

Feel free to keep calling and scheduling holiday mini-sessions — details here. I will be out and about, hangin’ with my girlies until next Friday, so blog posts will be a bit thin.

A FLIRTY LITTLE MUFFIN.

Jimmy can flirt like nobody’s business, as evidenced in this ‘yah-but-Dad-she’s-talkin’-to-me!’ shot…

And in this look-at-all-my-faces-I-can-be-moody-too capture:

Jimmy’s also a big guy — somewhere in the neighborhood of 17 pounds at 3 months.  He can kick, flirt, scream, slurp, giggle, stare, and grab — an impressive baby arsenal!

And we grabbed this at the last possible second, before absolute GIVE-ME-THE-MILKWAGON-NOOOOW! yells won out over the World Series hopes of Dad.

IT’S DOUBLE THE AWESOME!

Lots of people are feeling the economic crunch…but it’s easy to earn complimentary portraits with Essential Imagery. Simply refer clients to me, Kristen, the photo-nator — and you’ll receive a $100 print credit in your account when your friend has completed their session. (Yep, that’s DOUBLE the current referral credit!) There’s no limit on those babies — so get referring!

HOLIDAY MINI-SESSIONS ARE HERE | 11.8.08

You know how to contact me: 267.243.8929 or kristen@essentialimagery.com.  These are the LAST weekend spots available before the holidays!

122 E. LANCASTER AVENUE, SUITE 300

It’s here…the loft post! I grabbed some quick detail shots. Forgive the wonky color, as the spotlights add a weird colorcast that camera doesn’t know how to deal with.

First, placemats nailed to the wall make neat wallpaper…

Upon entering, you will see:

a.) an orange wall and gorgeous canvases,

b.) the waiting area mirror — and witty coathooks (in this case, my new haircut, too)

c.) the giant snifter full of quarters to pay for metered parking, useful for both clients and Kristens.

In the proofing (i.e. surrender your credit card here) area, you’ll find this lovely display. (Much of the candy has been consumed by my loving husband, and/or used as bribes for small children.)

You’ll also find this antique (as in, so old the cushions are filled with horsehair) couch, which is covered in comfy pillows.

Yah, that’s new, eco-friendly packaging…the bags are reusable, as are the big ol’ tins portraits now come in.

And, of course, the curtains had to be fun…

I could show you more, but then why would you come visit? ;)

Alright, one more…the frames I designed and a lovely local artisan built.  Available exclusively through Essential Imagery.  They’re radtastic, if I do say so myself.
